Parabiotic Lactobacillus (Green Tea–Derived)
Cera-Nova utilizes a plant-derived Lactobacillus parabiotic isolated from green tea, selected not for microbial colonization, but for its signaling function within the skin. Parabiotics consist of non-viable microbial components such as cell wall fragments, polysaccharides, and fermentation-derived metabolites, which are recognized by pattern recognition receptors on keratinocytes. Through this interaction, parabiotic signals help modulate inflammatory responses and support keratinocyte differentiation and barrier-related metabolic balance.

Within a stabilized cellular environment, key lipid-processing pathways involved in barrier formation can function more efficiently. One such pathway is the sphingomyelinase (SMase)–related ceramide synthesis process, where sphingomyelin is converted into ceramides as part of the intercellular lipid matrix. By supporting microbiome balance and reducing stress-related signaling, Cera-Nova helps create conditions in which endogenous ceramide-generating mechanisms, including SMase-associated pathways, can operate more effectively. How to Use

Mix 10 ml of Bio24h Calming Booster with 1 g of Cera-Nova thoroughly until fully blended. For enhanced penetration, apply using ultrasound or nano-needling devices for 10 minutes. If not using a device, apply the mixture evenly to the face and perform a gentle massage. As the texture becomes slightly sticky, continue with a light tapping or sticky massage technique to help facilitate absorption.
